VERY LITTLE GULLS

Easterlies at last and news from the east coast and on the Thames gave myself and T Bros hope for something special. There was a bit of movement of Thrushes and Finches but not large numbers. Mid afternoon and I was looking up hoping for Skuas. 'Those Gulls look small' I thought to myself, doh ! they were a couple of Little Gulls, circling high above the lake. I got some crippling shots (after discovering I hadn't re-focussed my camera after looking at previous images, which prevented me locking on to the birds at first), they didn't come down but drifted off west. Weather could produce something tomorrow.
