TRICELAND GULLS PART 2

As we had the two 2w Iceland Gulls on Friday and Ninja had the 1w Kumlien's in the Friday roost at Walton and then a 1w Glauc was at Walton yesterday and an ad and 1w Iceland Gull  were reported at Queen Mary Res roost yesterday, it was a safe bet that we'd have white-wingers again today. I scanned the Gulls with the Monk, Prof and Devil Birder. The second 2w Iceland Gull turned up first then a new bird, a first winter appeared. Finally the first 2w bird turned up and at one time, we had three Iceland Gulls on the main lake. Surely more white-wingers to come.
1st winter Iceland Gull. Note coarse markings to mantle, coverts and tertials and creamy white primaries

The two 2w birds. Better pics in previous blog
